About Messiah Ministries

Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61; Luke 4). He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Now, as the Father sent the Son, so the Son sends us in the power of the Holy Spirit (John 20). We are to be the body of Christ, filled with the Spirit of Christ, continuing the ministry of Christ to a broken, fallen, and hurting world.

“Messiah Ministries is a prayer ministry founded for inner healing, deliverance, and spiritual formation through sanctification. We minister in the diverse traditions of the Christian faith in America and abroad. We lead retreats, prayer revivals, teaching conferences, schools of spiritual ministry, and offer personal spiritual direction and prayer ministry. We are actively engaged in city-wide and regional prayer movements, bringing unity to the Body of Christ.”

Wounds of rejection, roots of bitterness, shadows of fear, walls of isolation, and shame of sin or abuse—the unhealed pain of life steals the blessings of abundant life Jesus makes available through the power of the Cross. They block us from intimacy with God, divide us from loving one another, and imprison us from living out our destiny in Christ. This is the ministry of spiritual transformation through "inner healing"—healing from the inside out. We need healing from our wounds and deliverance from our bondage. In this hour, our Father in Heaven is pouring out His Holy Spirit with great anointing and power to prepare the Bride and Body of Christ for His coming in glory--one day in the skies and every day in our lives (1 Thessalonians 4).

God will have a people on this earth, shining as light in the midst of the darkness, who display both His nature and His authority, emptied of themselves and "filled with all the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3). With Christ in us, the hope of glory, we will arise and shine for our light has come! (Isaiah 60) With the love of Christ flowing through us, the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2).

The vision and calling of Messiah Ministries is to do our part by the power of the Holy Spirit to cleanse, heal, equip, and empower the body of Christ to continue the ministry of Christ by “Preparing the Way of the Lord” and “Ministering the Healing Love of God.” This is the ministry of healing and deliverance—healing the broken and setting the captives free to be like Jesus—through Spirit-led prayer ministries of spiritual transformation and spiritual direction. Morning by Morning, April 26 - Consuming Revival Fire of God

Good morning, Lord Jesus. All is well with my soul because my soul is in Your hands. ...

“For our God is a consuming fire!” (Hebrews 12:29)

Fire of God, burn in me. Burn through me. Burn until You consume me from all that’s not yet like You and until You consume me with a fiery passion for all stirs You.

The same Fire of God that empowers us is the same Fire of God that purifies us. And we need both. We need it all. We need Your empowering, purifying Fire to consume us--spirit, soul, and body.

Tonight in our little community of Fredericksburg, Texas, I’ll be preaching and ministering at the first night of our Revival at the Barn. Lord, let it be Your Word and Your Spirit that’s released in our hearts with Your consuming Fire. Let there be salvations, healing, deliverance, and revival! Let there be an atmosphere of awakening as You fan the flames of revival in us! Not only here, but across this land and throughout this world in the hearts of all who are called by Your name.

You are the Revival! And Your heart is to set our hearts ablaze with Your revival Fire! So come and burn, Holy One! Come and burn with Your Holy Fire to purge us and purify us, to empower us and consume us! Consuming revival Fire of God come burn in us. “For our God is a consuming Fire!” In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
